Finishes

Forty years of finishing experience, in one factory.

  • Hot foil stamping

Gold, silver, holographic accents on premium boxes.

  • UV varnish

Spot or full-surface gloss — sharpens print, protects edges.

  • Matt or gloss lamination

Adds touch quality and tear resistance to outer covers.

  • Flocking

Velvet-feel interiors. A Jamar specialty since the 1990s.

  • Laser cutting

Intricate cut-outs and windows that die-cutting cannot reach.

  • Embossing / debossing

Tactile brand marks without additional ink.

  • Gluing

Automated and manual gluing — every construction we make.

  • Magnetic closures

Concealed magnets in lid-and-base, book-style, and drawer formats.

  • Ribbons, ties, handles

Cotton ribbon, satin, jute twine, paper handles.

Capacity

What “in-house” actually means.

  • 21Specialised machines
  • 50 → 100 000+Units per run
  • 3–6 weeksAverage lead time
  • 100%Quality control at every stage

“In-house” is a word that gets used loosely. At Jamar, it means cutting, creasing, lamination, foil stamping, flocking, folding, gluing, quality control, and packing all happen on one site in Tychy. We do not subcontract critical steps to third parties, which is the single biggest reason our quoted lead times hold.

FAQ

Common questions, honest answers.

What is the minimum order quantity?

50 units for premium bookbound boxes, 100 units for folding cartons and shipping cartons. Lower quantities are possible for prototyping; smaller catalogue purchases are available in the shop.

What files do you need?

Print-ready PDF with crop marks and a die-line on a separate layer; fonts converted to outlines; CMYK with embedded ICC profile. We can also work from packaged InDesign or Illustrator source files if needed.

How long does production take?

Typically 3–6 weeks from approved prototype, depending on finish complexity and run size. We confirm the schedule with your quote.

Do you ship outside Poland?

Yes — across the European Union and worldwide on request. We have regular shipments to Germany, France, the UK, Scandinavia, and the Middle East.

Can I get material samples?

Yes. Tell us the material and finish you are considering and we will send physical samples by post.

Do you do quality control on every run?

Yes — 100% at multiple stages. Inspection at cutting, after lamination, after foiling, and on the packed pallet before shipping.
